Born in Arequipa, Peru, Claudia has spent her life working in Tourism starting at a young age as an interpreter guide at the Santa Catalina Covent in Arequipa. After five years in Arequipa Claudia moved to Lima and began travelling as a Tour Conductor with groups throughout South America. Returning to Lima Claudia set up her own operation taking on the role as the Lima representative for a leading Peruvian operator. Co-ordinating all their Lima passengers flights, hotels, guides, vehicles, drivers, city tours and offering a 24 hour service successfully for five years until her love for Simon saw her travel to Australia. Today Claudia coordinates supplier and guest relations, quality control, product development, administration and is focussed on the continued growth and development of Kutimunki.

Born in Adelaide, Australia, Simon has also spent his life working in Hospitality and Tourism in Australia and

abroad. His positions held in industry include, Barman, Waiter, Chef, Food and Beverage Manager, Horticulturalist, Concierge, Tour Guide and Administration Manager. Simon has five years experience guiding in the World Heritage Rainforests of North Queensland and is an avid environmentalist. Fluent in Spanish Simon plays an integral role in Kutimunki with his finger on the pulse from itinerary design to tour conducting. Heading up operations and marketing Simon is constantly assessing and developing niche market opportunities ensuring the continued growth of Kutimunki and that “You’ll be Back”.

Born in Lima, Peru, Jaime moved to Arequipa as a young boy and upon finishing college began working as a tour guide and taught English at the “Instituto Cultural Peruano Norteamericano”. Jaime was then accepted to the Law Faculty of “Universidad Catolica Santa Maria de Arequipa”, attending from 1980 to 1985. After seven years working in the financial sector Jaime returned to University to update his skills and obtained his Legal Doctorate in December 1993. Since 1997 Jaime has worked as a professional for one of Arequipa’s most respected firms, specializing in civil, commercial, constitutional and procedural law representing many established companies in Arequipa. Jaime has been Kutimunki’s legal advisor from day one and ensures Kutimunki and their clients are legally covered.

Cusquenian, Maria Teresa was born into the travel industry and continues building on the families tourism experience. In 1999 Maria Teresa graduated from Lima's CENFOTUR Tourism School as a qualified Tour Guide. In 2002 she obtained a degree in Business Management from the Universidad del Pacifico resulting in a position as a Sales Executive for Japan Airlines, where she gained valuable experience. In 2005 Maria Teresa opened her own Tour Agency PERU HANDS ON. Today, like Kutimunki, her company is a pioneer in educational and personalized tourism in Peru.

Maria Teresa's philosphies towards the client, custom designing itineraries, value for money and personal service are aligned with those of Kutimunki and thus a partnership has been formed. Peru Hands On is a Kutimunki strategic partner.
