CUSCO - LAKE TITICACA - CUSCO
Day 1: Cusco - Puno
This unforgettable experience through the high Altiplano region to the highest navigable lake in the world begins with one of the World´s great train journeys across the Andes from Cuzco to Puno on board the Andean Explorer. Upon arrival you will be transfered to your Hotel in Puno for the night.
Day 2: Puno - Suasi Island
After breakfast you board your boat for your experience on Lake Titicaca. You will visit the floating reed islands of Uros, and Taquile Island famous for its Textiles. After a short walk across Taquile its back to the boat to continue your journey across the lake to Suasi Island where you will spend the night. Whilst on Suasi you will enjoy splendid gastronomic lunches and Dinner inspired by delightful dishes of “Novoandina” cuisine.
Day 3: Suasi Island - Puno
Starting the day with a "Novoandina" breakfast you have the morning free to participate in the many activities on offer. After lunch you board the boat for your journey back to the mainland and return to your Hotel in Puno.
Day 4: Puno - Cusco
On the final day of this experience you will journey on the Inka Express or Private Bus for your return to Cusco. Leaving Puno early you will visit Andean Villages and mysterious pre-Inca and Incan Ruins en route. Arriving in Cusco before dark you will be transfered to you accomodation for the night in your Cusco Hotel.
Day 5: Depart Cusco
After Breakfast you will be transfered to the Airport for your flight out
