Upon arrival to the “City of Kings” you will have the opportunity to appreciate the food, culture, architecture and art in the capital of the World’s most diverse country. A short flight then sees you arriving to the town of Puerto Maldonado located in the southern part of the Peruvian Amazon basin. The lodge is about an hour’s canoe ride from Puerto Maldonado adjacent to the Tambopata National Park. A compact yet thorough excursion, featuring superb activities and explorations, that permits you to discover a wide diversity of ecosystems subsisting in the Amazon rainforest and to explore the rich biodiversity within the Tambopata region. The wildlife is amazing, from giant and colorful parrots, to toucans, macaws, tapir, tamarin, owl, the gorgeous Southern Amazon Red Squirrel, as well as a large variety of monkeys.

A boat ride along the Madre Dios River and short flight sees you arriving to the Andes Mountains and the Imperial City of Cusco, centre of the Incan empire referred to as "the navel of the World". Here you will visit Incan ruins, take in 500 year old Spanish architecture and learn about the indigenous Aymara and Quechua peoples. From Cusco set out through stunning Andean scenery to the Sacred Valley of the Incas where you will visit colourful local markets and imposing Inca fortresses before setting off on the Inca trail.
