Day 1-5
Your trip takes you south from Lima down the coast towards Nazca. Visiting Peru's Galapagos, wineries and a Desert Oasis along the way. You will see one of the most baffling enigmas of archaeology, geometrical figures etched into stony desert scattered with ancient cemeteries that contain the mummified remains of the ancient Nazca peoples. Day 9-11
Next stop is Imperial City of Cusco, the centre of the Incan empire refered to as "the navel of the World". Here you will visit Incan ruins, take in 500 year old Spanish architecture and learn about the indigenous Aymara and Quechua peoples.From Cusco set out through stunning Andean scenery to tha Sacred Valley of the Incas where you will visit colourful local markets and imposing Inca fortresses. After a night relaxing in the Sacred Valley its off to the The Inca Trail.

Day 11-15
The Trek combines a stunning mix of Incan ruins and mountain scenery. Following the trail you will gracefully traverses through high-mountain desert, cloud forest, mountain passes and orchid-rich jungle on your way to "The Lost City of the Incas", Machu Picchu.No other place on Earth combines such spectacular natural beauty with such intrigue. Over a distance of only 45km and reaching elevations around 4200m you will traverse and transcend both space and time as you experience the same stunning views and inexplicable sense of power as the ancient Incas did on their pilgrimage to Machu Picchu during the height of the Incan Empire. After spending a night in the Luxurious Machu Picchu Pueblo it's time to return to Cusco for a free day to indulge in one of the best places to shop in South America.

Day 16-18
Returning to Cusco you have the day free to participate in optional tours or just relax. Then off to Lima where you have the choice to visit the Archeaological Museum containing the best pieces of pre-Columbian art from the rich archaeological zones in the north and the south of Peru. Or perhaps the opportunity for some last minute shopping in Miraflores. The tour concludes with a culinary and cultural experience you will never forget at your Farewell Dinner. Overnight in Lima before departing the country.
